Dr. Iqtidar Bangash

Dr. Bangash completed his MBBS in 2003 from Khyber Medical College, Pakistan. After serving in his country for 4 years, he moved to Australia to study Master in Public Health from University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia.

He liked Australia and decided to stay here. After completing his Masters and done with his Australian licensing exam, he started working in Sunshine Coast Health and Hospital services from late 2010.

After working for 5 years in the hospital system he decided to work as a GP and has been working as a GP since then and loves it.

He has gained vast of his clinical experience after his graduation includes working in Australia, in Emergency, Psychiatry (Mental Health), Pediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery, and General Practice (Mental Health, Child Health, Immunisations, chronic diseases, Men`s Health, Skin Check). He is Multi-lingual.

His special interests are chronic disease management, preventive health, skin cancer screening and surgery, mental health, children’s health and immunisation and Indigenous health.

He does minor surgical procedure including mole/skin lesion removals by ellipse, flaps and grafts, Implanon insertion and removal, cyst excision and toenail (partial/wedge resection).

Since 2011, Dr Bangash has been serving this beautiful country and its people with full devotion and motivation and is very happy to be helping the community of Northgate and its surrounds.
